A doll sized quilt for DQS8

I got paired up with a super cool partner for DQS8 on flickr, who happens to really appreciate her chocolate lab, so I decided to draw from that passion for her pup. This is what I came up with for her. She received this from me and she totally loves it! That makes me so happy!

I really love these batiks with black, so for my last mini quilt swap I made this modern amish rendition for my partner. It left a couple days ago as well, hope she likes it.

My friend Naomi and I both have birthdays in April, so we gifted each other with 6"-12" mini quilts in a birthday theme. She sent me the cake and I sent her the mushroom.
