Looky what came in the mail today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So today my mailman came to my door and delivered a package...what is inside I wondered as I struggled with layer upon layer of tape...... okay I got it open...oh my goodness...just what I have been looking for......a birthday present from my very sweet friend who always seems to think of the perfect thing at the perfect moment...I mentioned I wanted one of these one day...I am so excited about this little scale...we have weighed every small item in my house.......check it out. Thank you Bev!
a few flowers to fill the void while everything else is just poppin up
So ...here are some pics from a few places in my yard....my gerbera daisy from my birthday...my lilacs as they faded from dark purple to light...a very long bed that I just egded with limestone rocks-you can only see 1/2 of it-I am trying to get a better pic of it, but it has been really rainy. And last but not least...my son likes to sneak our dog, Copper into his bed and I caught him this time.

Why must furry creatures come inside to visit?
So I got up full of energy this morning...need to do some laundry. So I make my way to the laundry room, open the door, flip on the light.....and what to my wondering eyes should appear all nestled in my clean pillows atop my dryer? Yes..this little menace. How it got in? We cannot figure it out. But my husband was soon to return home, slipped on my iron working gloves, plucked up the creature and the situation was resolved. Ick..I am not an opossum fan at all!
April birthday kiddos
So here are my 2 April birthday kids. They both had fabulous days on their special days, so that makes me happy.
We have been busy putting limestone borders on flower beds, making new beds and getting things planted. But today, there is pouring down rain...and gray skies. So I am back to cleaning out closets and putting away winter gear. Can you believe I collected up all the gloves/mittens, scarves, and hats and I filled my entire washer load. Sheesh!
